who brain brah not mine i can see it pretty clearly streaming is what niggas actually doin and these bundles is just ways to boost up sales

this nigga weeknd did 490 first week and 390 of that came from bundles that s*** is insane

niggas dont wanna look at streams cause if they did.... it would be looking pretty sad

nigga basically became cartis b****, made balle funk, got trendy did a whole shot on iphone music video got cucked by the grammys and sold fake 00pium bundles only 2 flop

meanwhile da boy up!!!!! NOKIA!!!! TAKE THAT PUNK SISSY FROM THE NORTH SIDE

i give drake props bro i legit think he’s prob the 2nd biggest NA streaming artist behind Taylor, but idk why there is a stigma with physical sales in hip-hop when it’s normalized everywhere else

weeknd is just moving how all the other pop girls do as far as first week gimmicks, but he’s only scrutinized bcuz he’s adjacent to rap + niggas still hold the heartless lollipop s*** over him (LOL) despite those rules being changed

i mean the whole nav thing could’ve been avoided if they hadn’t blatantly disobeyed the new rule about digital deluxes

like he def did sell that many technically but they just couldn’t count

mind you the worst offender of that s*** was a pop artist

    They don’t wanna acknowledge this

They still don’t understand that sales being filtered doesn’t necessarily mean they weren’t real, they could just not count under Billboard’s rules

    Gosh

So you would agree everyone pushing a fake conspiracy about his numbers are weirdos right?

    Is this ok?

After the radio has beat the singles into heads and they've been added to all the retail playlists 🙊

The Weeknd lives and dies by the success of his singles. When he has successful singles, that album era is successful. When his singles from an album era flop, that album era flops.

See: Kiss Land era, Dawn FM era and now, Hurry Up Tomorrow era.

Literally. I don’t get why he gets judged under the umbrella of rap expectations

He’s moving exactly how all these white pop artists do because he is a pop artist himself

Timeless is supposedly a flop yet somehow still in the Top 20 after eight months

Nope, some rules quietly went into effect on February 28th but weren’t announced until later

I still don’t understand why people refuse to acknowledge that Timeless is a successful single

  • Apr 8, 2025

also as far as me being critical towards the weeknd, his last two rollouts were VERY messy esp HUT if you were paying attention

dude scrapped his lead single to pivot to the carti s***

    great album tho

There's a connection yall not putting together both French and nav are managed by cash

  • Apr 8, 2025

This thread is full of the most disingenuous bullshit imaginable with both sides just trying to ruffle each others feathers as much as possible

There was not been a single honest take in months in here

French’s sales were not fake. The shipping updates were. The purchases were real, but the shipping was rushed to make the sales count for the first week.

What Nav is accused of is completely fabricated purchases

This is the only rule that went into effect in Feb 28th.

If 90% of the purchases on his website never clicked the email and bothered to listen to what they purchased then that would make them clearly fake sales

Your verbiage is weird. They’re not “fake sales”, they just wouldn’t count under the rule change.

A “fake sale” would be a purchase that was not made by a human being
