$$$4U projected to spend its 11th consecutive week in the top 5. It will surpass FATD which spent its first 10 weeks.

Views, Scorpion, and CLB are the only other Drake albums to spend their first 11 weeks top 5

now compare their sales at similar marks lmfao

can make anything look good without context

Exactly, they acting like the music industry isn’t in utter shambles right now

Got a 3 year old album at #1 right now with 52K copies

Yes because the entire industry is in the dirt right now.

Let’s say hypothetically speaking that the industry crashed even harder than it did and the #1 album each week was only moving 20K units, and a new Weeknd album selling 10K each week was good enough to put it in the Top 5 each week.

Would its total weeks within the Top 5 stat realy be that impressive considering that it’s barely moving any units because the entire industry is down?

So The Weeknd is still flopping relatively terribly compared to everyone even in a dire time?

What does that have to do with your original post?

You made a comment about $$$4U, someone responded to that, and I responded to that.

Why are you now pivoting to how Hurry Up Tomorrow is doing?

$$$ is doing great. It’s still top 5.
If it’s only there because industry numbers are low, then other 2025 albums should easily be next to it right?

It’s not. No album is really doing “great” right now. The entire industry is in shambles. Idk why y’all keep talking this assessment as a personal attack on Drake

    That’s your accessment.

$$$ is doing great. Consistently top 5 while plenty of other 2025 releases are plummeting.

    Hurry Up Tomorrow is flopping.

    $$$4U is flopping.

MUSIC is not currently doing well.

    MAYHEM is not doing well.

No 2025 release is doing well. Why do you keep making this a Drake & Weeknd issue?

It’s currently behind albums that released in 2022, 2024, and 2023. How is that doing great

All those albums you pointed out are not having any similar longevity as $$$.

    Nice try.

Morgan Wallen albums literally having the biggest chart runs in history.

That’s like saying if an album didn’t outsell Thriller in the 80s then “it was a flop”. They’re anomalies and the biggest albums of the decade.

Those albums have consistently been selling 50K a week for years now. They have not been in the Top 2 positions for a long time. That’s the point.

The current state of the industry is in the dirt

MUSIC was #1 for three weeks.

$$$4U was #1 for one week.

Is that not more impressive than your weeks in Top 5 stat?

Or are you gonna actually use your brain for once and use context to explain why that’s the case

Units needed to make top 5 a year ago: 51k

Units needed to make top 5 this week: 46k

#1 is currently low in units, however the top 5/top 10/etc isn’t really. Those positions are still selling relatively the same amounts.

$$$ is already charting above Music.

You’re still refusing to acknowledge the fact that MUSIC was #1 for longer than $$$4U was, so, according to your logic, that should be the more successful album, right?

Or is there a reason why MUSIC went #1 for two weeks longer? A reason that you don’t want to admit?

Nothing in my posts have said anything about a higher peak being more successful.

Weeks in top 5 is more longevity oriented lmao. Even then, weeks in top 5 ofcourse isn’t some be-all end-all.

However there is no way an album isn’t successful but spends its first 3 months top 5 lmao Literally show any other example of this
