pimpinAll facts but one thing to consider is that the BB 100 is unusually weak rn. Compared to this same period last yr the chart is clearly weaker
220 points (Luther) is really low and with numbers like that even a mid level hit from Travis or Ed could land at #1 they don’t need anything major.
It would be dope if Travis was the one to take the #1 spot and keep rap at the top for at least a few more weeks...just not next week please.
Kendrick might never get a shot like this again and I really hope everything aligns and he pulls it off

I defo feel like they don't care because there's just way less fun catchy music anymore though. Anecdote as f*** but a few friends are always complaining about the lack of fun new music
so they just resort to listening to the fun music from like 10 years ago, cause theres no other choice

Young people don't care about "fun catchy music" except its from their fav artists like Olivia, Sabrina, Billie or Taylor
Most songs that are going viral on TikTok are sad love songs
We still want songs like Price Tag from Jessie J or Only Girl from Rihanna. It's just not happening anymore because some of these artists are "retired" or are just corny for young people now (Ed Sheeran)
