Idk if this will do anything significant since people aren’t listening to music as much on any platform tbh
Morgan taking the only achievement Hurry Up Tomorrow had going for it as a finale to the disastrous movie release week is nasty work
They dont want rap to be on top.
It’s the people saying f*** rap not the industry
Imagine believing this
HUT doing awful in that regard lol
Doesn’t take away from his older stuff tho
NOKIA dropped this year. Somebody Loves Me dropped this year. Both bops that have been ringing off since they dropped and will continue ringing off throughout the summer lol.
This is the thread for charts but you can't expect the charts to completely represent all the songs DJs will spin this summer.
When people said this last year y’all said it doesn’t matter if the songs aren’t doing well on the charts
Are you gonna start a “DJ Spinning These Songs” thread next?
DTMF 5B+ in streams already.
He just crossed 100B+ spotify streams joining Drake and Swift as well. Probably becomes the #1 streaming artist next year.
First album to do 10B streams in a year?
Kind of crazy that March 2020 charts were stronger
*radio
rap songs aint streaming either, top songs barely touching 1M daily streams. Nothing standing out.
The biggest reason Rap is declining is something half this forum still is in denial about: zero new tangible rap stars rising this decade. Billboard rules got nothing to do with that

Labels gotta invest in talented rappers again.
We just getting regional “rappers” making the same indistinguishable trap music.
BigXThaPlug, Bossman Dlow, etc are not legitimate artists like what are we hyping as the future of the genre at this point lol
They dont want rap to be on top.

It’s been plenty of people on this site who start crying the “you’re not a real rap fan if you saying it’s dead” denial nonsense and also the ones who just claim it’s monoculture dying when at best it’s a partial obstacle but ultimately misplaced blame.
There can still be huge new names & huge hits from new artists. It’s been plenty examples in other genres
