You should’ve said streaming tbh. Tik Tokers have no motion tbh. They got a lot of views but they are essentially just models.

The real cultural impact is in streaming. AMP, Speed, XQC, Adin, plaqueboymax, etc

These are people you can actually argue have encroached on a lot of artists spaces in the cultural landscape

The streaming was hot the first few weeks because Doechii is such a buzzing name but it fell off cause ppl clearly don’t find it to be that replayable

I’m sure the machine behind her will put out another single at some point this year that does way better and it’ll further show how bad Anxiety was received

Look nobody is saying streamers aren’t popular. Obviously they are.

The point is they will never be more popular than the most popular musicians or actors or athletes.

It’s fast food cheap entertainment targeted towards kids. Once their audience grows up, they’ll move on. And once their next internet trend shows up, they’ll move on.

It’s no different from 2010s YouTubers and influencers and vloggers. David Dobrik was on top of the internet world at one point and not even ten years later he’s irrelevant
