John Legend got more Grammys than Prince with elevator music that has absolutely never shaped music culture.
You have a discussion on greatest music from our time and John Legend will never appear yet somehow got 12 Grammys lol.
You just described the industry in a nutshell even when it comes to sales lol All this s*** is relationship based. Not to take anything away from the “indie” artists that have success but even they have industry relationships that help them.
