I like Travis but kinda hate that he's doing these numbers with such a low effort project

It's sad that if I wanna listen to a memorable Travis song, I have to go back as far as Astroworld.

Kendrick put Keem and all of TDE on if we’re keeping it 1000

Most ppl outside of California wouldn’t know who any of them are if Kendrick didn’t get super hot in the 2010s and collab with them a bunch

I’ve also lowkey had a conspiracy that Drake had some sort of unique deal with UMG that incentivized him to keep collabing with brand new artists they were trying to break. Usually artists focus on their label (like Kendrick). I’ve never seen anyone constantly grab random dudes and give them features that got worked by the label the way Drake has

To be fair, Baby Keem was buzzing before he eventually collaborated with Kendrick so I can't in good faith credit Kendrick for his success. As for TDE, I can't credit Kendrick for their success either because they all came up at the same time. SZA blew up not because of Kendrick and ScHoolboy Q blew up around 2014 not because of Kendrick. They worked their asses off, strategized and the music eventually took off.

As for Drake, putting other people on is something he has simply always done. He's a genuine fan of other artists and wants to see other people do well. It's only when he got too big as an artist that people started twisting his intentions into something negative.

It's also notable because most of his features are originally his own songs that he gives other artists. He's just an unselfish collaborator in that way.

More like Travis released another version of JackBoys 2 and so now there's 2 versions charting on Apple Music. If both versions get combined, the album will return back to #2.

Say anything bad about Kendrick and you get constant tards replying "so did Drake"

you don't see that in reverse actually.
Kendrick';s even playing 5 drake songs on tour

Idk what world you’re living in but any move Drake has made in the past year, Kendrick’s name has been brought up

Yet you credit Drake for the success of numerous artists who he gave a verse to after they were already buzzing

Niggas in here said Drake made Bad Bunny famous

Kendrick was writing music for Keem from the beginning

Drake on the other hand is more likely to have songs written by up and coming artists

Drake and OVO sound radio broke a lot of artist in general whether through Fts or remixes or just playing the music. The first time a mass audience heard of some of those artist were through drake. I can specifically name Dave when he was just coming up, he was buzzing yes but wanna know remix put him into the trajectory he was on way faster than anything else.

    No one will admit this

Literally no other label had this influence either lol only person close was Frank with blonded radio

  • Jul 18, 2025

Bad Bunny had to even release MIA on OVO because Bad Bunny and his label didn't have the money to pay for the feature lmao
