Why do people continue to act like Travis is the only artist that does bundles just because he has the most success with it? Does he not realize over half of Clipse’s first week total is from physicals & bundles as well?
Also he’s extremely corny for being a media member and s***ting on physical media

Ofcourse I'm not saying Jay-Z directly told him to do that but he has allegiance to Jay-Z and won't talk s*** about the artists who just released their music under him.

Lot of them were boxset options on the site afaik, there were like 6 or 7.
I don't think there's anything wrong with them though and should be counted.

I don’t blame artists for using the system but I see a difference between buying actual music vs s*** where music is secondary object
For example if Rihanna drops an album and sells vinyls, for me that’s valid. But she packaging album copy with Fenty drop where people are more in it for make up, I see it differently.
In the end I don’t make the rules tho and I don’t blame artists for capitalizing

I don't think people have been doing that recently, it was crazy earlier with people selling lollipops and keychains and whatnot but recently it's only been normal merch like t-shirts and hoodies. I guess it's cause they need to ship the limited physical copies first week itself and why waste them on something people may not buy.

i dont think theres any other top tier artist abusing it that much

trav only doing 70k streaming units with a 20 track tape thats been hyped for a long time is really weird tbh, massive underperformance
but i think spotify & AM changed their algos away from rap this year, will see in a few days with tyler's album

Also, 73% of The Tortured Poets Department’s first week sales were pure sales
