Just because the same 10 songs were shoved down our throats on rotation 20 years ago, that doesn’t mean those songs are gonna be the biggest songs of this century for the next 75 years. The song is slowly establishing itself as a Halloween staple. Each year it gains a massive boost of streams on Halloween, doing at minimum 600K in the US on the holiday every single year since its’ release

blinding lights is basically still new relative to those songs I brought up previous
So BL doesn't have the longevity, didnt have the biggest cultural impact
