No you don’t get it, y’all are thirsty for validation for your conspiracies so bad that every few months y’all fabricate evidence just for nothing to come from it
At this point I expect y’all to bot his streams yourself just to have something to be mad at
Conspiracy? He lost one billion streams — his total dropped from 50 billion to 49 billion. How else could that be possible?

Yes conspiracy, a screenshot of numbers is not credible evidence for your claim or it would be breaking news
Again, ask yourself why only Drake stans are losing their mind over it?
It’s a nothing burger
It’s getting embarrassing, y’all need to let it go, he lost, move on
the list that fader thinks is super accurate
IFPI Top Global Recording Artists of 2024

the apparent best peak for a rapper ever
is behind Eminem
Did this with 3 singles and an album that dropped the last week of November btw
It's only "arguably the biggest peak" if you're a huge mentally ill drake hater lmao
Not Like Us got outstreamed by a damn LIL TECCA song
What are you talking about
It’s easily the biggest peak. Peak is not just about raw number stats.
Whoever thinks he’s chart obsessed is actually stupid. He released What did I miss a day late, now doghouse multiple days late when it had the strongest chance now to debut at #1. He never cared lol
Just because this rollout has been an absolute mess doesn’t mean he’s not chart obsessed lmao
Top rappers across some of the biggest countries on spotify is pretty interesting
UK
#2 Drake
#12 YE
#17 Eminem
#26 Gunna
#30 Trav
#34 Kendrick
Sweden
#2 Drake
#19 Ye
#47 Kendrick
Germany
#7 Drake
#31 Eminem
#33 Trav
#69 Kendrick
gap between drake + everyone else is quite odd. maybe fader's right. drake is botting. Eminem/YE quite far behind so it can't be the back catalog.
He obviously is botting, every major artist is to a certain extent. I don’t know why it’s taken the world so long to realize it about Drake specifically.
Yes, he is massively popular, no one is denying that. But his numbers are also clearly embellished and manufactured to make it seem like he’s that much more popular than everyone else

Oh s***, I just checked and you're not wrong. I thought this was just Drake fans trolling but his numbers have really dropped to 49B streams on Spotify.
Seems like a glitch imo. Kworb's Spotify numbers are all messed up right. Gotta wait till Spotify updates their charts first.

There is absolutely zero confirmation that those screenshots are true and the only source is an Akademiks page
There’s literally no way to verify whether that’s what the page displayed on September 5th

Fader Man when you ask him to get help for his mental illness that flares up whenever it's time to discuss Drake:
Anyways, Iceman is shaping up to be arguably Drake’s worst album and probably his least commercially successful as well.
What Did I Miss? -> Which One -> Doghouse is an awful run of singles
Fader Man when you ask him to get help for his mental illness that flares up whenever it's time to discuss Drake:
Major artists who Fader Man is a huge fan of have been exposed for using bots so now Drake must be one of them using bots as well

So it’s okay for you to say that Kendrick has been botting, but it’s mental illness when someone accuses Drake of the exact same thing? How does that work exactly?

I’ve literally said FOR YEARS that all major artists are botting to a certain extent. It’s one of the reasons I’m anti-streaming
You sound insane

bruh drake has ALWAYS BEEN #1
even before streams
25 year old drake outsold a jay z and kanye collab album no streams just cds
Motto was the most pirated song of 2011

Some of y’all don’t know how to read man
I literally said DRAKE IS MASSIVELY POPULAR, nobody ever said he wasn’t #1 before streaming
But it’s clear that bots are being used to extend the gap wider than it already is, the same way that all major artists use bots to embellish their numbers. It’s not a conspiracy, streaming farms are a real thing that exists

no i dont bra u the dumbass that thinks the nigga who built streaming is buying streams
SLIME NEVA PAID 4 DRAKE TO GO NUMBA ONE ONLY GUNNA
Drake has:
1. Never used radio deals/payola to push his singles.
2. Never used bundles to boost his numbers.
3. Never released multiple remixes to boost his songs on the charts.
4. Never released several versions of the same song (acapella, sped up, slowed down, instrumental versions).
5. Pushed back early on in his career when his label tried to get him to take more commercially-viable acts on tour so he looked bigger/more successful.
6. Is still playing arenas 15 years into his mainstream because he doesn't care to play stadiums and appear to be a bigger artist.
He's not like the rest of y'all's faves who are obsessed with appearing bigger than they actually are and will do just about anything to not look like a flop. They have to use bots and other industry shenanigans to make themselves look better. Drake has never cared for s*** like that. He drops his music and lets the chips fall where they may. I know y'all don't know s*** about that but simply because something is commonplace in the music industry doesn't mean everybody engages in it.

Fader Man is ridiculously delusional because Drake has ALWAYS been the biggest of his peers.
If I remember correctly, IYRTITL was the most illegally downloaded album of 2015. Thank Me Later, Take Care and Nothing Was the Same all leaked weeks before their official release and they each still did monster numbers lol.
He was always going to benefit the most from streaming, not only because he had the sense to jump in front of it by releasing a ton of music during its initial boom but because he always had the audience that listened to his music, they just didn't count properly because they were too busy illegally downloading his music instead.
Streaming became a thing and those same people realized that for less than $10 a month, they could have legal access to not just Drake's catalog, but the catalog of all their favorite musicians and they jumped on it.
All the massive Hot 100 entries he's scored since then has been a function of the actual reflection of his listenership — something that wasn't properly represented until like 2015.
That's all there is to it.
