The equivalence isn’t between amount of variants dropped really. T swift has the same amount of variations for TTPD and Showgirl, the only difference is that she is even bigger now and gained even more fans after finishing her tour last year, hence more people buying her stuffs.

I'm not moving any goal posts and you can't compare Taylor Swift using the same tactics as artists who aren't 1/20 as big as she is. She has a much bigger fanbase than all her female counterparts so it makes sense when they resort to borderline unscrupulous tactics to boost their first week numbers. They actually need to do that to gain leverage with their labels.

Taylor is already the biggest artist in the world. She doesn't need to do any of that but she does it anyways.
