Whenever those streamers actually release an album, it flops. I don't think they'll ever replace full time artists, unless one can find a way to balance the allure of both professions

the obvious balance is for them to do compilation albums instead but these niggas wanna be rappers so bad lol

Compilation albums would flop too. Anthony Edwards just dropped one with some pretty big features and I haven’t seen it mentioned here

Streamers & YouTubers are the ones that pivot to music, film, & TV after they reach the peak in their field. Even someone like Mr. Beast is getting into TV.

We’ve never seen someone who peaked in music or film try to become a full-time streamer or online personality.

Streamers are not the “new rappers” whatsoever, despite if it appears to be the case because they dominate our algorithms

Literally. DDG has been trying to become a serious rapper for the past decade and his album he just released went triple aluminum

A YouTuber/streamer trying to become a musician is commonplace.

A successful musician pivoting to a full-time streamer does not exist

its hard for people to take social media influencer music seriously outside a a single or two.

because they know after a certain age its not gonna work and/or they want to leave a legacy. Nobody sees youtubers same level as movie/tv people at the end of the day no matter how much money they make.

For a Drake album after two years? It’s aight.

GNX is about to cross 3M in one year with half the amount of songs

It did that in less than 2 years actually. Anybody trying to spin that as anything other than a huge W, especially considering the fact that the album had no smash hits, is being dumb.

It passed 3M sometime this summer, so pretty much two years after its release

It’s a mediocre performance for a Drake album

I don’t think a kai album with uzi & a boogie & the rest of them would flop

30 ain’t ever reaching diamond, it’s moving so few units that it’s not even a top 200 album nowadays, meaning it’s getting less than 1500 units a week.

    yeah, I forgot about SOS

idk about After Hours. The Highlights stole a lot of sales from this album, in the US and other countries with the same rules regarding compilations

But I think The Highlights could be his Immaculate Collection

  • Oct 25, 2025

I just realized that Morgan's I'm The Problem and One Thing at a Time are both over 100 minutes long so the sales are doubled

One Thing at a Time is nearing 10M copies so it actually sold around 5M units
