Let that hate in your heart go super weirdo
Kendrick fans have now reached the Black people are not smart enough for the album phase
That's to be expected. They've always had an elitist mindset.
There are other examples like Gunna, Lil Baby, Moneybag Yo, Bad Bunny , Lil Durk , etc
4 of these artists received a Drake stimulus, crazy to think about tbh
you right though it is possible to keep growing, but I think all of these artists played industry games insanely well by constantly collabing. Artists that separate themselves from other artists seem to struggle a lot.
I'd also go as far to say that The Weeknd flopping with Dawn FM was mostly due to the lack of collabs with big artists

nav gets the same collabs and nobody cares

Not really a fan of his music anymore but Nav was doing pretty big numbers 2017-2019 ish, easily a top 30 streamed rapper, maybe even top 20. His first week numbers were never high (except the album he did insane bundles for) but his trick was longevity, he was farming streams over time
even now he has 6 songs with over 200m spotify streams. How many rappers have that? Probably less than 20

Didn’t NAV get pretty decent sales for his caliber with his last album?
Was crazy to enter this thread and see my avy posted despite me not even being active itt
Look what y’all have done
https://twitter.com/blackyspeakz/status/1528164041675493376so we can all agree the sales are bad

Dawn FM had collabs while After Hours didn't so this doesn't track.
If we calling YB and Carti rap, this rap too
!https://youtu.be/8PRhynqCttYWhy'd you post the 432hz version
Only 1 Kendrick song in the top 24 in the US. This album won't stay. It will quickly go away. Crazy considering we've been waiting 5 years for this.

Meh, that's full of fake votes. Can't trust it.
We know Kendrick is Kendrick and goes months without a phone, but yall think he cares about the reception of the album
The sales and the not so universally great opinion this time

Kendrick in Ghana playing soccer with kids who have less than while this album has the highest user score of any of his work, meanwhile being a therapy session for black men.
He is doing just fine. Man gave us another classic #1 album and healed himself.
