Oh, and for anyone wondering about the intent behind my post in the RIP Sidhu Moose Wala thread, I legitimately didn't know who he was and that's why I asked. I posted in the thread, dipped to go finish something I was working on and returned to people who could have easily answered my question being shady and condescending and I never appreciate that energy so I responded the way I did. Of course, the usual suspects would believe there was anything other than harmless curiosity behind the question I asked, but I assure you, there wasn't.
Anyways, I've since learned what I can from doing a Google search on him and I will say, Rest in Peace to him and I hope his family and friends are able to find some comfort in such a difficult time. Death is never easy.
I believe you
''WHO??'' has been a meme on ktt and twitter for so long tho, so I kinda get why everyone thought you were trolling in that thread

I had no idea about that. It makes zero sense for me to mock the death of someone I didn't even know about.
just W2S, GWG, Knife Talk
Knife Talk never got an official push. It just got a random music video but it was never serviced to radio. The only 2 official singles off CLB were Way 2 Sexy & Girls Want Girls and they were both push back in September.
182k vinyl first week
T. Swizzle stans are going to do everything in their power to outdo that with her next album.
Where’s Kendrick?
Early projections had N95 sticking around in the top 10 for a second week, but I guess not.
Drake could do 800K or more with a Harry Styles rollout. He probably wouldn’t want it leaking though.
I don't think a "rollout" matters much for an artist like him but I feel like as good as CLB is, it's not the album he originally intended to make/release and I feel like the only reason we got it was because he had promised to release it. CLB is like the longest time he's ever spent working on a full length project (he started in 2019 and ended in late 2021). I feel like a lot of things affected the album and I'm very interested in seeing what a focused Drake album (without all the mindless bars throwing shots at random rappers) will sound like today. I feel like the last true focused Drake project we got was More Life.
Yeah, CLB is really good but it could have been better. There's like 4 songs I'd cut off it just because they aren't as strong as the others but other than that, it's good for what it was.

IMO a different rollout wouldn’t affect hype much but having physicals would lead to higher numbers. It ultimately depends on how much he cares about first week numbers and 10+ years in, I doubt he cares much
It’d be cool to see though

knife talk was sent to radio
Is Wait for U the unofficial song of the summer so far?
I thought that new Calvin Harris would take it's place but na wait for u still got it

https://twitter.com/Navjosh/status/1460830558364188672It was never serviced to radio. It went for adds off hype (same way Fair Trade got lots of adds but was never an official single). I think it was intended to be the third single but then it got pulled because official sources only list Way 2 Sexy/Girls Want Girls as singles from CLB. It's the reason why it peaked so low on Rhythmic/Urban radio.

I'm surprised at how stable it's been on streaming so far. Also gaining on Rhythmic/Urban radio. It's #5/#7 on both respective formats right now.

Summer hasn’t even started fam
But let Kendrick stans tell it, we were delusional to discuss his numbers because no other person in the world cares about album numbers but us. SMH.

Still don't get why he didn't shoot a video for GWG.
Summer hasn’t even started fam
technically not but a lot of people are out for break now
