You're not wrong about this. I can't count how many people online I've seen try to shame other people for revealing that they enjoy Drake's music. They'll try to shame if you think he even makes good music to begin with, which is something that I've never understood and is even more weird when you realize that they also listen to Drake but feel like the cool thing to do online is to act like you're not a fan of his music.
People online legitimately believe hating on Drake is some sort of personality trait.
Nigga said out in the wild. Redditor spotted 😂😂🤣
Where else am I supposed to interact with a dedicated community of other Tottenham Hotspur fans?
I can promise you I ain’t in any hip hop related subreddits tho. Even though ye himself f***s with r/Kanye more than he ever will ktt

I think it's because Drake never really fell back and made people miss him.
Drake was everywhere in 09 when he first blew up and he's still active today with no album out yet.
When rappers seem like they're saturating themselves, it becomes uncool to be a fan in music circles, especially online.
I remember Wayne dealt with a similar thing in online communities in 08-13. Wayne was everywhere and was starting to decline after No Ceilings and people would trash him to seem like they had good taste in music/hip hop. I remember some White girl at a summer program I went to when I was 14 used to go #NotLikeOtherGirls and bash Wayne while claiming that she prefers real hip hop like Biggie lol.
When Wayne fell back(albeit due to getting f***ed over), the Wayne haters declined. If Drake either goes on a hiatus or drops an album as good as Take Care/NWTS, the same will happen for him.
King Of The Fall
Only real music gonna last, all that other s*** is here today and gone tomorrowwwwwwwwwwwww
King Of The Fall
My goodness.

I think so too but he shouldn't have to take a break to be appreciated. He also wouldn't on the historic run he's currently on if he disappeared. In the end, people will appreciate what he's done. I get that. It just sucks to see people claim to be haters for cool points when they really aren't.
