My Turn/Dangerous/CLB were never carried by hit singles and they're 3 of the best-perforning albums released this decade.
my turn had We Paid when the deluxe dropped and i think it’s part of the reason why the album kinda caught a second wind and went on to be a mega smash

Also technically that song Drake had with Durk was a single

It was released 13 months before CLB dropped and it's not a part of CLB.

Still a single
Also he had the little 3 pack
I agree w/ this. The songs don't necessarily need to be hot 100 hits but people just have to keep coming back to them.
They keep the album in the view of the public enough to expose it to more people.
Like Get Into It Yuh was for Doja's album in between singles.
The 1500 was originally based on how much money they get from streams.
1500 x .006 = $9
the 1250 paid and 3750 free was more accurate in terms of consumption.

Anything these rich old whites tell y’all you just go with it huh?
Not you attempting to flip my words. What do you think it should be ?

We Paid wasn't a hit single on the charts, though. It peaked at #10 for one week. That's it.
The longevity of My Turn can't be linked to just one or two songs. Several songs off the album have been regularly streamed since the album dropped and that's the case till today.
Still a single
Also he had the little 3 pack
None of those appear on CLB so I don't get your point.
Still a single
Also he had the little 3 pack
its not a album single so thats not relevant to clb.

He didn’t say that
He said it’s why it caught a 2nd wind

It’s definitely relevant
Video even had CLB dropping January
my turn had multiple hits they just wernt mega hits
They weren't chart hits. They're all songs that have gained streams over time, which is my point.

its not 💀💀 it doesn't effect clb sales at all

I was talking hype bro
Pay attention
He didn’t say that
He said it’s why it caught a 2nd wind
That's not exactly true. Multiple songs added to the album gave it a boost plus one song that wasn't a mega hit can't boost an entire album for 18 months and running.

we paid 22 weeks on chart...
Way 2 Sexy and Knife Talk top 10 for some time right?
Those weren’t singles though
laugh now cry later was the single but didn’t make the album

Hot 100 and BB200 are becoming more seperate imo.
I think when they increased the radio percentage, only certain types of singles stick. Some songs can be bigger on streams w/o showing up on the hot 100.
None of the songs you listed are mega hits capable of carrying an entire album, which is my point. Way 2 Sexy/Girls Want Girls are the only 2 singles Drake pushed off CLB and he pushed them as singles in September 2021. He hasn't pushed a song since then so there haven't been any songs making the rounds on radio attracting listeners to stream the album more. People just kept going back to the album post-release and they haven't stopped.
