The music is the most important thing but people have expectations when the wait has been 5 years. His fans are talking as if he's as big as Drake, so let's see if the numbers are matching. You can blame Kendrick fans for that
Drake is better looking and makes music for the hoes obviously hes bigger
Amazes me that people still willingly enter sales threads to complain about sales lmao
dam and it’s still mid that’s crazy
How can it be mid when the whole country is playing the s*** out of it 7 months after release?
still in bb200 top 10 7 months later
Thats how you know it's a classic because the people fw and not just the bald internet nerds
I just stepped outside
Don’t see anything tbh
U aint going to the right places king
i mean Kendrick is one of the biggest rappers of all time
and Damn sold a crazy high amount
I could see this matching CLB or Scorpion
especially since his fans buy albums, especially vinyls
At all. I'm even thinking of turning the thread to a sales projection thread so we can discuss first week numbers for any major albums that drop this year instead of having multiple threads about that.
Look at the title of this thread. You obviously came with some hidden agenda lol…I’m not pressed but you really can’t turn your stan glasses off for sec without turning everything into a sales war
Lol lets not act like damn didn't sell hella physicals and streamed as much as more life with 13 tracks. 750k is definitely possible even more if it the album is about 17 songs
How can it be mid when the whole country is playing the s*** out of it 7 months after release?
because I have my own ears and that s*** is mid
If Kendrick does 600k it’s a win
Anything under Drake is an L tbh, in Kendrick’s position if you ain’t first you’re last. especially since CLB was barely promoted and all the hype, this is Kendrick’s chance
Imagine expecting HTT to be reasonable
Only ppl that will care if Kendrick doesn’t sell tons of records are… well you know who.
The rest of us will be enjoying music.
Lol stop..if he sell anything higher than 600k y'all not gon b quiet for years
Lol lets not act like damn didn't sell hella physicals and streamed as much as more life with 13 tracks. 750k is definitely possible even more if it the album is about 17 songs
More Life dropped on Sunday and DAMN had bundles so you got to factor that in
because I have my own ears and that s*** is mid
sounds like you got a bad taste in music if you ask me or the general population
Anyone made the a***ogy about how much mcdonalds sells but its still trash ass food?
Anyone who cares about sales numbers needs to be put in a mental institution where they can bounce off the white padded walls while screaming about how numbers on a screen validate their opinions but don't fill the void inside them

Classic Midrick fans
Aside from being pretentious as hell and thinking they are superior just for listening to him, they bleed out of their a******s in a childlike fit of rage if you even consider saying that his albums aren’t 10/10, he won’t go platinum first week, etc. Pretty sad stuff!
I see all of CLB section stepped up behind you. You're the face that we need to oppose Midrick fans
Amazes me that people still willingly enter sales threads to complain about sales lmao
You enter Kendrick threads and complain about Kendrick. What’s the difference?
Everyone claims he can sit at Drake's table both musically and in terms of how popular he is. CLB did 613K despite being a ''bad'' album. Kendrick hasn't released an album in several years, this is his big comeback. If he truly is as big as people claim then he has to do around 500K
Kendrick IS a big deal. He's never really done Drake's numbers but that doesn't mean he isn't a huge deal. This album will be huge. It just won't be as big as some people think it'll be and I'm trying to offer some context around why that is. He's easily the second-biggest rapper after Drake commercially. That's no small feat.
DAMN. has moved 6M units in the US. Him and Drake are the only rappers to have an album do that since the streaming era began.
Also, his tour for the album will be massive. It'll sell out faster can people can cop tickets.

You need to make an a***ogy about some b****es
