thegreatdivineHow do you reach the conclusion that it's mid? If they keep going back to it, clearly it isn't mid to them and isn't that all that matters? No one will keep playing songs they genuinely think aren't good.
bc the vast majority of people just put songs on in the background at a party or while driving to work or whatever
whereas this site has a lot of ppl who are really into music as an interest
so the taste and way of approaching it is not necessarily gonna line up with the charts IMO

Will be very interesting to see 2nd, 3rd, 4th week numbers for this. Feel like Bunny might get him overall tbh
first year they both drop an official album at around the same time I think. Looking forward to those year end lists

this why I pay attention to streaming numbers way more than radio airplay. although mfs can manipulate the data.

the rollout was definitely bigger but the most streamed songs on there aren't rap, one dance/controlla/too good etc
True about the most streamed songs. Hell the rollout indicated a more pop radio direction so good point, tho it doesn’t mean much in comparison to the new project when the pop execution was so high
But nah fr 46% of the album’s runtime is actually hiphop (rap verses over hiphop beats) lol I’m not counting the dancehall songs
