Sales, athletes, outside, the hood, they all aren’t fw this album.
Now they gotta act like these things don’t matter
I respect Drake for doing something he 100% wanted just for the musics sake and not doing another people pleasing album.
But now that serves a dilemma for Drake stans because they validated Drakes last couple of mid albums by using sales and the “outside”. Now that that’s not a factor here, what’s the angle without backpedaling too much?

So if you’re comparing it to Mr. Morale purely by numbers for numbers, then yes it’s a flop.
But if you include the context of how the album dropped and what the album actually is, the 230K range is expected.
