Kendrick’s biggest crush growing up was Beyoncé and his favorite rapper is HOV, so he thought it was be funny to make a song about taking her from him.

This is one of the first tracks I heard from in 09 before the EP came out, so the above background is coming from word of mouth from people close to him.
