    Exactly

As a huge drake fan it’s clear Kendrick has an issue with ALL mixed people

Who cares if it was a rap battle where you’re supposed to clown your opponent

Me and you took it personally and that’s all that matters

Oh I didn't take anything personally. I'm just engaging in the conversations. Clowning is fine but the influence is real and people are taking this s*** seriously.

What creative risks has Travis taken like Kendrick or his goat Kanye?

    HE MADE THAT S*** DARKER

    Lecrae’s version was dope

NC-17 also, in a sense. Thriller music

“Our kids should go play at the park, two light skinned kids the s*** would be cute”

Kendrick has two kids, why did he chose to label the light skinned one cute?

He said the moment would be cute. Not the kid.

And the Pac interview at the end definitely ages like milk.

But, with risk taking, comes mistakes.

TPAB is still the only album of the last 15 years to be in my top 10 for a reason.

i don’t understand how someone can sit back and listen to TPAB and not think that this nigga isn’t one of the most creative rap artists the genre has ever seen

im assuming the pro-black and political nature of that album really hurts people’s ability to listen to the music apparently

I’m glad I can tune out the message I know is there to just appreciate the musicality of that album. Probably why I can listen to random songs off of it leisurely without needing the albums context cause I just really like the music

I don't think Trav steps in a booth and thinks about risks. He just does what comes naturally. You don't have to take "risks" when you're authentically creating and using music to express your feelings and experiences.

As someone that been a knxwledge fan for YEARS that feeling of going through the iTunes snippet play button and hearing Momma cant be replicated.

Because he's pointing out Kendrick's hypocrisy in his colorism.

It's weird how you can't really respond to Kendrick never threatening his goodwill with elites and his bottomline to represent any marginalized group. Just wild hyperbolics.

    Wait?

I thought as huge drake fans we were holding Kendrick accountable for his lyrics in a rap battle

Let’s not give up now, he even had WHITE producers during the beef, how embarrassing

Even tho this was Kendrick’s first battle we should pretend he hates all light skin people and not just drake

Being a longtime Pac fan (high school i got that book for a birthday where it’s all his notes in it), it just showed how vastly different them 2 were and not in the best way.

Pac talking bout niggas eatinf the rich and how it’s gon be bloodshed and Dot saying “I think all we got left is just the music and good vibes” when it’s like…historically music ITSELF has never changed the world or the society living in it.
