Kendrick wouldn’t be criticized if there was nothing to complain about. You bringing up 21 Savage and Hov as if people were complaining for no reason.
21 Savage tweeted about some anti gun s*** when we all know he rap about killing niggas on every other song, then he tried to use his programs as an excuse.
Jay funding Bitcoin schools in the projects was criticized because that’s the last thing those niggas need. Cryptocurrency is not too far from gambling, and crypto has already dropped a LOT. Is that really the best thing they could do? Even people from those projects thought that s*** was dumb iirc

Scratchin Mamba2pac was definitely anti-capitalist, he wasn't above flexing his wealth, but he was member of the young communist league, his mother a black panther and his aunt a political refugee in Cuba
that banned mtv interview says a lot But yeah Kendrick's references to those guys were also mostly aesthetic, he never really showed a deep understanding of who they were tbh, which is a problem in and of itself. He's not a hypocrite in the same way Noname would be if she did this because it directly goes against her explicitly stated politics, but it does look funny still when Kendrick does it, it fits his new whole I choose me thing but it's funny comparing it to old Kendrick tho

The 'hood translator' thing is corny.
It's like niggas from the hood are so dumb they can't be understood, or understand a basic concept and need it translated?
The juxtaposition between the two is like when Joyner Lucas put out Im Not Racist and most people agreed that was corny.
