I've listened once so I know I need to sit with it more but off first impression, I don't see how niggas were saying this better than GKMC/TPAB. I appreciate bars that I catch and has me like
but I didn't really pick up anything on here. And there's not a concept like his other albums so this automatically feels less fleshed outNot saying it can't eventually catch up to his other albums, but right now I don't see it like some of you were on release day

ValentineNigga offering insane amounts for information on Kendrick. Even offering bitcoin (like Kendrick isn’t best friends with a bitcoin fiend) and so that value (let’s say 10 coins) would be a crazy amount in a crash dummy’s hands in LA

For me I feel like it’s another classic and a masterpiece in its own right but I still think GKMC and TPAB are a cut above
Those are once in a lifetime creative achievements, he’ll never clear those like Nas never cleared Illmatic
As far as everything else though like Damn, MMTBS, etc it’s just as good, better in some ways
He’s reached that point where his discography is becoming extremely hard to rank because the quality of all of his projects is so high, similar to Ye
