Yeah I think as long Kendrick breathes he’s gonna make sure to constantly check Drake when ever he sees him spewing some nonsense.

That would be a bit weird, surely someone trying to enter the top 5 OAT got something better to do than constantly stalk another rapper.

Besides, what is the definition of ''spewing some nonsense''?

2pac and Biggie was literally a career highlight for both of em that lasted years

I know we in the short attention span era but this beef isn’t going away

Only a matter of time. A few years from now drake will have either rebuilt enough confidence thru renewed success to re engage or will crash out due to frustration over his loss of success and basically feeling like he has nothing left to lose

  • Nov 24, 2024

If there is another album coming down the pipe, question is, will it drop this year, or will it drop around the Super Bowl (possibly announced and released after)?

And when drake do that that’s when we’ll get #thelast5

Kinda mad Kendrick and Westside Boogie ain’t made music together yet they could make so much soulful amazing music.

If we ever get a Kendrick collab album I'd hope it be that one

You’re going to seriously dismiss the fact that one of drakes go to methods on any track isn’t either talking about some b**** he stalks or a rapper he stalks? Cmon

Spewing nonsense means that. Can’t hold any meaningful conversation regarding the content of the album and its construction.

  • insertcoolnamehere

    As he goddamn should

    somebody’s gotta do it
I like me some Drake tunes. But I’ve always been hesitant on ever calling him a GOAT and this year Kendrick has said everything that a lot of people genuinely feel about Drake.

He just makes some side comments, they are never the main topic or of importance on his songs. Would be very weird if someone constantly followed up on those, especially when it is someone who doesn't drop often.

long post/ RE: response to scratching mamba

Not so much savior ( “martin luther staring at me” ) but moreso becoming more active in his own community instead of “hey guys look at what you can do when you get out the hood.” If anything, imagining what Nipsey was doing.

I think up to tpab/damn, Kendrick tried and thought if he worked from the outside in (getting out, coming back with the lessons he learned from the world) he can help his community/people grow. 2nd verse of “Falsehood” he admits as such i made a video out there in Capetown so the homie could see and then later after homie left after getting “a call”… no matter how many flicks of tabletop mountain, the block was home and Africa was too far for power, than I knew Drake said nothing Kendrick himself hasnt heard before I’m sure ppl from his community told him he sold out (judging by he himself saying it on u) (a friend never leave Compton for profit)

Think he learning to inspire change in his community, he has to be present within said community. Like Nipsey was. Working from the inside out instead of outside in. So this album post mr morale being the most cali sounding project and having the most cali talent can be seen as a musical example of this.

Also doing more local things like speaking at the college too. Who knows what can/will happen in the next few months/year

Or maybe this is 8:45am rambling before i get ready for a church gig

have a great time at church

Stupid question perhaps, does the album length and amount of tracks affect this?

Not really. All people want is dope music. The kind of music you're describing has never been what's moved the needle for Drake and the casual rap fan doesn't give a f*** about that. Neither do most Drake fans. The hippity hoppity rap fan also doesn't move the needle for Drake. They don't matter to him because whenever he's made music to appeal to them, that music has performed terribly.

Yes lmao why do you think a lot of albums are like 25 songs long in the streaming era?

  • kttmz

Stupid question perhaps, does the album length and amount of tracks affect this?

Tricky question. Does it play a part? Of course. But does double the track mean double the total streams? No.

Also, one could argue that it only goes against you if people see your album as an one-listen. Listening to the album twice or listening to an album that's double the length = same amount of time spent. So it's not a problem if people like the album
