Coon joking about the dead when I got real people dying
Joke again
I never would’ve expected Kendrick to drop an album inspired by the beef and be this unfiltered.
I thought the diss tracks were dope cus they gave us Kendrick as himself without any deeper metaphors on top. It felt like seeing your favorite actor as himself and not playing a role.
On his albums he’s usually a vehicle for some greater points which makes each project feel almost like cinema or literature with each creating annd existing in its own universe.
Even with Mr. Morale. Niggas called it his most personal album, but I never fully resonated w that. It still felt like a multi-layered album with a theatrical, almost play-like quality (ex: We Cry Together).
I’d argue GNX is his most personal and unfiltered album. It’s a direct continuation of the raw honesty he displayed during the beef and feels like we’re finally hearing the “lil Compton nigga” we first heard on Heart pt1
I’m out thread has terrible vibes happy Thanksgiving
vibes are normal as hell
Women really f***ing with man at the garden heavy.
Brah i noticed that too every girl is posting that song

The album was inspired by its energy, but thankfully it’s not a full on Drake diss album.
