There can be another album on tuck and this can be a very quality project.

He treated this project like a throwaway with the way it was released and he’s been working on something for at least a couple years.

This sounds like his last few months. It sounds like a piece of music to satisfy that itch fans have for blood and stamp his victory

I don’t think he wants his main entree to have s*** to do with this beef. He can go back to being a responsible superstar with a grander message on the possible album in question.

over the years ive started cataloging music by years in playlists to keep track of when it came out, but i also make specific playlists for certain artists

if im just gonna listen to that album ill play it from the album link usually

then i have separate lists for certain things too, and ill only put a handful of songs or appropriate songs in them

Only thing I don’t like about this line of thinking is that it downplays GNX

I disagree that these are throwaways, the production quality is through the roof and these are some of the catchiest songs Kendrick has ever wrote. The execution is just too high level for this to be dismissed as some side project. With mixtapes/compilations and s*** like that there is usually a step down in quality and that is absolutely not the case here. What is the case is this is a more minimalist sound for Kendrick with lighter concepts, that doesn’t invalidate it as an “official Kendrick Lamar album” though. I hate that take lol.

Now is it possible that he has more in the tuck? Sure, I can see that being the case. But if so I think whatever THAT is would be the mixtape/side project. Either that or it would be a sequel to GNX, or a completely separate album with a different sound. In either case GNX is THE ALBUM right now. GNX is Kendrick’s 6th studio album. We need to accept that lol.
