WESLEYS THEORYChromakopia feels overrated by his fans. A few outstanding songs like Darling, I and Like Him but overall it just feels stagnant to me. Like a 7/10.
This album I’ve been playing with a few breaks inbetween since Friday and it’s amazing. I’ve seen some people downplay it because it’s more like a “mixtape”, but that’s a crock of BS to me.
If you actually listen to the songs closely, there’s so many little details and nuances that come from a Kendrick album.
Actual factuals
The reincarnated theme is sprinkled throughout the entire album so it is a conceptual body of work
It’s just difficult to catch thoroughly bc the bangers hit so hard it’s distracting
