Not the biggest fan of DAMN but the impact and quality was undeniable

Mr Morale won’t ever be seen as a classic but it might be the most important album to his discography for him as a person. He wouldn’t have been on the headspace he is in now if he didn’t work though his personal demons first.

The climate has never been more perfect for a Jay Rock if he doesnt drop an incredible album in the next 6-8 months he dropped the ball

Honestly idk if I’d say never, it already has a bigger cult post gnx that I was expecting they might grow in numbers

I def dont think it’ll ever be a unanimous classic but i wouldnt be surprised if it ended up reaching cult classic one day and getting a 10 year anniversary rerelease

I think now that people got the hits, they can look back on Morale and appreciate it for what it is. A very vulnerable album, probably his most vulnerable.

I would need that. I was fighting for my life defending that album in 2015

Its probably my least favorite of his main 6 but i still like it a lot its about an 8/10 for me
