Halfway through a new decade and the production still sounds the same as it did 6-7 years ago

All those years had good albums but it wasn’t consistent in the same way

For rap music, overall this decade has been abysmal.

I think he had a bigger Influence around mid to late last decade. That Toronto “sound” that 40 was really behind mixed with Drake’s type of melodic rapper hybrid was more prevalent then I think than now.

He didn’t invent that style.. but his tweak on did pave the way for a certain lane of rappers back then. Especially light skin rappers. I remember I had a homie who was really on his Drake s*** lol
