that's what an album is, them talking about their art. As a fan, I get what you mean by this. But also as an artist, I understand how an artist would feel like

especially in today's era where an artist that seeks to control their own narrative is something that is now seen as revolutionary as opposed to just...normal s*** a decade ago.

You also gotta remember before internet/blogs took over the world, the interviews we got from our fav artists was in magazines lmfao. sometimes we wouldn't hear from our favorites for months or even years lol.
