Man, I know we’re in a streaming world and physicals nowadays tend to be pretty barebones because of it, but I miss Digipacks.
I have every Kendrick record on vinyl, except UU which I have a signed CD of
Can’t wait for GNX to get here
leaving music aside, this is the best executed business plan I've ever seen. Insane precision
Kendrick has a shot at dominating 2025 as well if he plays his cards right. This is the best possible scenario I'd personally want...
1. First he needs to drop the MV for TV Off this week (b4 SB)
2. Kendrick and SZA need to go all out for the halftime show (huge pressure but it’s the perfect way to build momentum for the next move)
3. During the SB he drops the MV for Luther. Luther is massive rn bringing in nearly 5M streams a day and sitting in the top 3 on the BB charts. That’s why the SB performance has to be DOPE! It will open up huge new opportunities and allow him and SZA to promote a stadium tour.
4. Then just like The Weeknd did in 2021 he should immediately announce additional stadium shows right after the SB extending all the way to the end of the year.
5. Luther goes straight to #1 and Kendrick is back on top with both the number 1 album (GNX) and number 1 song (Luther) at the same time.
6. B4 the tour starts Kendrick and SZA announce a collab album (it needs to be DOPE). SZA could take some of the songs she was saving for her next album and use them for this collab while Dot throws in some fire verses he’s got in the stash. If they both go all in this could be timeless.
7. If the album blows up the tour could expand globally and next year Kendrick could clean up at the Grammys in both rap (GNX) and R&B categories with SZA. After that they do a few more shows in Asia.
If Kendrick does everything I just mentioned 2025 will be even bigger than 2024. We'll see tho this potential collab album with SZA could end up being a classic that keeps both of them in the mainstream for the next 5+ years easily.
I kinda hope that if everything goes down like this Kendrick just steps away from the mainstream for at least 5 yrs. He could even retire for all I care. After winning 5 Grammys any extra success is just a cherry on top. He’s got nothing left to prove he basically done it all.
Any producer(s) claimed the GNX trailer beat yet?
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EY3g2MgmrANo but I still think its CARDO
No but I still think its CARDO
Thats a good guess, it does sound like a lot of his beats put out last year. Only missing the cowbell.

All this sounds fire 😭. I still think he ain’t taking another hiatus for a few years tho.

Didn’t someone say he made a whole plan for the next 5 years?

bra i know this is your ideal situation but realistically the only thing that would happen here is another mv for something off gnx and more tour dates
anyone else notice that cringe new snoop/brady hate ad is filmed in the same place as kendricks album trailer
Comments got me dead asf
Some Kendrick fans wanted to be surprised by LUTHER getting played

That’s exactly what I’m talking about! If Kendrick and SZA manage to bring in Luther Vandross (via hologram) and then transition smoothly into "Luther" with great visuals, it could be an iconic moment. The song could really take off post SB if they drop a MV right after.
Kendrick and SZA must be insanely nervous tho there’s no room for mistakes during a halftime show. Kendrick has messed up lyrics a few times at the POP OUT so hopefully that doesn’t happen here. I know they’ve had months of preparation but the pressure has to be crazy.
Plus Trump will be there probably with his entire Cointelpro goon squad administration. Also Taylor Swift will be in the building and tons of other celebs. Kendrick and SZA gotta come through smh. God bless them both.
Now, imagine if Kendrick kicks off with...
Uh, Martin had a dream
Martin had a dream
Kendrick have a dream...
…and the camera zooms in on Trump at that exact moment lmao. Fox News and MAGAtards would be losing it for months.
Mustard had the hey now beat since 2019 but niggas kept turning it down
Wtf that beat is tight 😭
