Hours before that white party Drake was at too. And all the white clothing and imagery around in the video has to be in relation to the Rubin White Party.

Kendrick's boy said himself he's Petty Pendergrass. What better than to release on Drake's birthday month or week closer to his actual birthday. Drake did it to him with dropping Honestly Nevermind on Kendrick's birthday. Kendrick responded with getting with Keem to make Hillbillies, a mocking of Drake's track Sticky.
