“But if you can’t see how Tyler fits into the LA/Cali sound than idk what to tell you.”
walk in new orleans with the etiquette of LA YELLIN MUSTAAAAARRRDDDDDDDDDDDD

What we thinking the hits are on this album? Squabble up and Luther for the radio are my bets
Yeah if there are any, it’ll be Squabble Up and Luther
I vividly remember when Cardo was kinda teasing something else was coming after DAMN. dropped and we all thought it was NATION. and nothing came
Yeah they keep teasing lmao. Something definitely is coming
you believe now
he was talking about a 🖊️
I still don’t get it , explain as if I was 5
The thing is, i cant tell if saying this album is an appetizer is a compliment or an insult lmao
Like its a compliment to say something this good is only ‘appetizer’ level for Kendrick
But its also an insult in the vein that it suggest’s it aint a proper project lol
TPAB in real time was just such a crazy moment. It’s the defining moment in his career in terms of the perception of Kendrick being the best of his gen. Such a bold move after GKMC and the jazz and funk influences are just beautiful to me
DAMN. has a few songs I maybe care less for but the highs I think are higher than on this new album but it’s all very close and bottom line is that his whole discog is full of quality projects. The list also changes depending on mood ofc
100 percent--I've never felt more validated hyping up an artist to people when TPAB came out. Id done it for a few years and that album was literal perfection for me as a jazz trumpeter from my ute
I’ll never forget when Kendrick first performed Untitled 3 live on Colbert. It was before he dropped TPAB. I think it happened after the "I" single came out.
Untitled 3 is still top 20 Kenny. That studio performance with Kendrick holding a flask, Terence Martin shooting dice in the background and Anna Wise there was just iconic.
I’ll never forget coming back from school the next day...everyone on KTT1 was going nuts. Everyone could tell right away Untitled 3 was special.
Also idk if you remember this but I remember the Section Eighty forum at that time having a lot of KTT posters (is it still around these days btw?)
Somehow the owner of the site got a hold of a leak before any of us and he was reviewing the album while having his first listen
Remember reading he was posting about “wtf is this s*** talking about washing yo ass” and I was sure at that point he was trolling. And then it turned out to be real and a classic track as well
Didn’t King Kunta leak from Section Eighty forums as well ?
Streets (DJ Hed is the Answer & not-baby Keem) say different
Stay On Stream

kill urself honestly
Why are people online saying this is a mixtape and not an album?
Listening to it, I could see the argument for it sounding like a mixtape. It’s definitely Kendrick’s loosest project.
But the pg-lang IG called it an album so it’s definitely his 6th studio album
Yeah if there are any, it’ll be Squabble Up and Luther
You know he’s bout get like 5-8 songs in the top 10 right? This album is bout to be massive, especially if he drops a deluxe to it like I think he’s bout to do
second reach of the day:
wonder if this was a dig at cole
“I used to bump Tha Carter 3, I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I think my hardwork let Lil Wayne down”
“Got the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me, all these n* agitated I’m just glad it’s on they faces”
let nas down
Normally I’d say it’s a reach but Kendrick’s different so it could be true
Again I really wish he would’ve checked Cole for that port Antonio s***
Lmaoo cmon man
Kendrick rap like lil Wayne but he’s still west coast. Cmon you understand influence
