I agree fully but the album is still just cool lol

As a project, it used to be my favorite of his, because I love the vivid picture it creates

I think I still might rate it #3

I feel like TLOP is a good indicator of where niggas was at in their Kanye fandom tbh

Cuz I remember people viewing TLOP as a chaotic rollout and messy as hell but still liking the album.

Kanye’s redemption tour with MBDTF is the cultural peak I kinda remember

It’s cause it’s when fashion, vibes, public eye, and music were all seamlessly intertwined

It’s when he felt most mainstream, imo maybe outside of like cruel summer and grad but I barely lived through those

But even back then it was just really about the music and vibes that was pre fashion

    You’re young brother

That wasn’t even remotely close to his most mainstream, he was already anti industry by then

Graduation was his most mainstream era by far

For music yes but the way people flocked to everything he had done and essentially him being looked up to the way he was was insane

He was the blueprint for like the way Travis and Carti are now essentially

  • mr get dough

    Wow lol

I’m debunking the thread let’s get back to Kendrick

Yeah I liked TLOP a lot at the time and i still like it but i dont think its better than any of the albums before it

He was on a whole different level on his first 5 albums musically and thats just how i feel about it

I like a lot of his music after but it started getting extra and honestly just too white imo
