F***ing beautiful music

But 2nd part of MAAD City is still my fav Kendrick album moment ever. The beat switch, the G-Funk synths, the MC Eiht appearance it just all felt so right for GKMC. And not to mention one of the most iconic Kdot verses ever

Wish there were more instrumental forward or sample heavy tracks.
Too many west coast bounce type beats for me tbh.
I understand the artistic decision and the victory lap sentiment behind it, but it's just not my cup of tea.
Some tracks are phenomenal tho, like Luther, Reincarnated and Gloria.
Solid 8 out of 10 for me. Not his best, but still good.
It'd go GKMC > TPAB > Damn > GNX > MM > S80 for me prob

DAMN - not one in particular but the stretch Humble > Lust > Love is not on par with the rest of the album for me

Mr Morale - Rich interlude idk why Kodak was so hyped on this album by KTT I didn’t like any of his contributions

GNX - there’s really not a single track I dislike atm or think is a lot worse than the other it’s pretty consistent

Almost entirely agree but ur wrong on We Cry Together. Obviously not something you wanna go back to outside of a full album listen but it’s well executed.
