He clearly means the song didn’t get radio play proportionate to how popular it actually is. The song is under represented by radio for how popular it actually is/was
Nah you moving the goalpost for him but even if that’s what he was saying, that’s not even true. Hiphop songs hardly reach top 10 in overall radio and he happened to achieve that with NLU. If you wanna say that radio historically undervalues HipHop i’ll argee with u on that. NLU happens to be the rare exception to that tho

our king is a phony
ayahuasca and other psychs will give you nothing you dont already feel or possess i hate this thought process sza is using here
He explained the title of the song which is what we already knew. Everything in his answer about character is reflected in Meet the Grahams, 616, Euphoria. I wanted an answer addressing the elephant in the room of accusing someone under the same place as you of Pedophilia. It will eventually be asked of him. Meet the Grahams was a good stopping point. Even if I knew the domestic violence was a lie. Reacting to an accusation of abusing women with an accusation of abusing women felt defensive at first because again he had won with Meet the grahams. He made the catchy radio song that got him to permeate the public
If you perform at the Super Bowl, Harpers BAZAAR, number 1 song of the year with a huge radio push and awards
you cant let the party die you are a part of the party
working under Jay Z
you can still critique the party but you are still Alessia Cara Here
you are still at the party
you drove there
you opened the door
you brought the drinks
You are apart of the party
What makes you think that's what Kendrick meant by "the party"?
ayahuasca and other psychs will give you nothing you dont already feel or possess i hate this thought process sza is using here
No psychedelic will
Let alone the most intense one known to man
Your philosophy of “When it gets too hot, that’s when you gotta go, like, closer—closer through it, all the way through, until your shins is burning.” I wanna take it there.
I would fold so bad
No psychedelic will
Let alone the most intense one known to man
Exactly my point. She thinks he can only come to the conclusions he has about honesty and ego by using ayahuasca
You just said I’m a mossad agent to get people to care less about Palestine
I’m not even going to say what I think you deserve

What makes you think that's what Kendrick meant by "the party"?
you read all of this and thats all you got. I know some think the party is Diddy Parties
You guys have a way of reading an entire paragraph and rather than respond with what you think you respond with just one singular question.
I thought of what the party is based on the lyrics of the song. I also know the party is the negative parts of black culture but if he is done lecturing us why continue? If he knows UMG who he is under promotes artist doing exactly that or if he knows why these artist depict their reality which sometimes is the party to escape it themselves what does he want? If he isn't creating a label for more consciousness or encouraging others rather than just beating his chest that he is the best whats accomplished?
He openly says I wish it was you rather than Nipsey when Morale gave the idea while parading around a d*** addict Kodak black that he believed all humans were capable of change.
Dear God type of vibes but bemoaning black people while moments ago saying he is what the culture is feeling.
"I think it's time to watch the party die
This s*** done got too wicked to apologize
It's different, get him whacked and disqualified
We even kill the killers 'cause they like taking innocent lives
Burn the whole village, we start over, it's really that time
Why reason with these niggas if they can't see the future first?
Why argue with these clowns if the circus is well at work?
Just walk that man down, that'll do everyone a solid
It's love, but tough love sometimes gotta result in violence
If you parade in gluttony without givin' truth to the youth
The graveyard is company, just tell us what casket to choose
They party more than b****es, tell me, what are you working for?
They glorify scamming, you get chipped over this credit card
Influencers talk down 'cause I'm not with the basic s***
But they don't hate me, they hate the man that I represent
The type of man that never d***ride 'cause I want a favor
The man that resides in patience, so where the soldiers at?
The ones that lost it all and learnt to learn from that
A thirst for life, head inside a book 'cause he concerned with that
Information that'll change his life because he yearns for that
Dedication, findin' out what's right 'cause he can earn from that
I feel for the women that deal with the clown and nerd s***
Can't blame them, today they ain't really got much to work with
How many b****es harder than a lot of you niggas?
Would trade all of y'all for Nip, I can't be proud of you
God, give me life, dear God, please give me peace
Dear God, please keep these lame niggas away from me
Dear God, keep me shinin', the f*** do they really think?
Pocket-watching, you must be the police
God, bless these words, dear God, bless how I think
Dear God, draw the line, they tryna confuse 'em with me
Dear God, please forgive me, you knowin' how hard I tried
I think it's time for me to watch the party die (Uh-huh, huh)
Get 'em gone, we gon' watch the party die (Uh-huh)
Send 'em home, we gon' watch the party die
Verse 2
I think it's time to watch the party die
Street niggas and the corporate guys, the rappers that report the lies
I need they families mortified
We can do life without 'em, get they bodies organized, tell me if you obliged
No more pillow-talkin', jump-startin' neighborhood wars
Dirty-mackin' b****es because your spirit is insecure
The flashy nigga with nasty decisions usin' money as a backbone
I want his head cracked before he's back home
The radio personality pushin' propaganda for salary
Let me know when they turn up as a casualty
I want agony, assault, and battery, I see a new Earth
Filled with beautiful people makin' humanity work
Let's kill the followers that follow up on poppin' mollies from
The obvious degenerates that's failing to acknowledge the
Hope that we tryna spread, if I'm not his vote
Then you need to bring his f***in' head, or film that s*** in hi-res
Chorus
God, give me life, dear God, please give me peace
Dear God, please keep these lame niggas away from me
Dear God, keep me shinin', the f*** do they really think?
Pocket-watching, you must be the police
God, bless these words, dear God, bless how I think
Dear God, draw the line, they tryna confuse 'em with me
Dear God, please, forgive me, you knowin' how hard I tried
I think it's time for me to watch the party die
Verse 3
Sometimes I wonder what Lecrae would do
F*** these niggas up or show 'em just what prayer do?
I want to be empathetic, my heart like Dee-1
But I will—
It's time to get these devils out the way, heavy metals on my sword
We settle hard disputes today, the ghetto Hollywood divorce
Say hello to your future fate, the culture bred with carnivores
You let 'em snack, they eat your face, the signatures is bein' forged
They wonder why I'm not enthused to drop
The more visible you get, the more your spiritual is tried
It's cynical to say I know these artists petrified
The end result, in jail by Jezebel or d***ged up full of lies
Critical, I know my physical is tested all the time
I'm pitiful, sunken place soon as I'm questionin' my pride
I'm seein' ghosts, blackin' out, relapsin' one thought at a time
I spare no feelings that ain't mine, I'm in my feelings when I slide, I mean
A nigga wonder what Lecrae would do
Terrace Martin said I'm mentally with layers, true
I flood the market with my best regards, I paid your dues
And so it's up, if you ain't one of ours, it's bad news
My nigga Jay Estrada said I gotta burn it down to build it up
That confirmation real as f***, it ain't too many real as us
Lockin' in to what I trust, lookin' outside
The kids live tomorrow 'cause today, the party just died"
Not everyone needs to go on a bender in the woods to find out who they are.
Drake do

What you are saying isnt necessarily true. Shrooms have helped me a lot remember key things as well as acid. They will often help you see the world in a different way and let go of some pain.
It literally affects your brain you cant say "give you nothing"
You hate the idea that psychadelics are viewed as positive at times?
I pray you dont drink an alcohol depressant saying this dumb s***

our king is a phony
Can’t wait to run into Kendrick and have him hit the changa blunt. Gon change this man’s whole perspective and give us 3 more albums worth of material
No psychedelic will
Let alone the most intense one known to man
It can give you something you dont already feel or posses thought wise
as in epiphanies

That’s not true. You can look at songs like paint the town red which is even less poppier than NLU
I don't think yall understand if Kenny drops a banger album that impact is going to be f***ing MASSIVE.
The crown is his and the stage is set, the people are clearly on his side.
All he gotta do is drop ironically.

I originally typed something longer out and addressed more of what you said but I figured I'd just ask for your perspective and why you think what you think instead of arguing with a stranger on the internet
I definitely agree with some of the hypocrisy between the Kodak Black situation and even the Like That verse being on a Future song.
But I just don't see how submitting a song to the Grammys or performing the Super Bowl is contradictory to his sentiment of Watch the Party Die, which is what I took issue with in your post I responded to. But now that you elaborated I do agree with your sentiment
