ValentineDave Free is a way better interview than Kendrick. With Dot, it seems like the other person is just honored to be in his presence so it ends up becoming like a back and forth as opposed to just him opening up mostly. It’s nice as a conversation, but when you really wanna dig deep into their artistry and where it comes from I like reading Dave Free’s interviews. But this was nice

Definitely could have went more in with some slightly tougher questions
Because "are you an angry person" really should be directed at "okay I know you know he has a daughter but do you really think he is a pedophile"
"How do you wrestle with wanting the party to die but also performing at the super bowl what do you have to say about or to America right now"
"With your next album who or what are you addressing most or is it aimed at fun"
"Being independent now how do you want to change how you operate and create do you still care about radio and setting records"
"Is there a song on upcoming album that you made you cry to create"
"Is your aim more dance music and fun now "
this is just general but like there is a lot they could cover
"What is God to you"
"Do you still consider yourself an Israelite"
just a lot of ways you could go to deeper questions but SZA nor a Journalist nor a Fan is going to ask these questions

I was referring to the daughter verse. I do think that Kendrick and a lot of fans do believe Drake is pedophile. I remember when I saw that video how disappointed I was that he continued after she clearly stated her age.
A concert video from many years ago while horrid doesnt mean he has sexual interactions with children or is attracted to children. That is not a light statement to make in anyway shape or form. He is a confirmed groomer while so is Jay Z and yes I have consistently kept the same energy for both. Its important to separate groomer from Pedophile because one is more heinous
SZA skirted it with "what does not like us mean to you". Like I get it but when your fanbase believes and follows your word like sacred text some clarification on whether you truly believe he is a pedophile is infinitely more important than daughter or most of the words in this interview

Well yes but there is damn near no challenging or interesting out there question of information Kendrick hasnt said somewhere else in this interview. Its just heartwarming to see it all in one place and see them talk
Most of what is said in this interview is in no way new information of any kind
Oct 21, 2024I appreciate how the themes from this interview and his raps are super consistent. Shows how true to himself he is, the talking to God, the search for knowledge, the standing on principles etc… All this ain’t really new info. He’s showed us these things every time he pops up or drops.
