I think this is AI simply because Kendrick wouldn't say "I dominated your favorite rapper" and other lines in this too

I wouldn't put it past him, he's pretty witty

Whatchu think about the “competitive ” part around 30 seconds?

Edit: I guess it’s more the word “revive”

Im just hearing a to of really bad compression throughout

    Like its squashed man

    I think its that

    Even if the tech exists

    The pen does not

No one writing a Kendrick response and impression this convincing in 48 hours. From the angle he went to his word choices it is so well thought out. The writer would have to be an absolute genius tier rapper

I’m a rapper and I can tell you the writing on this AI leak isn’t that impressive.

Let’s imagine what Kendrick would do in a hypothetical response to Drake. On a tactical perspective, he has to:

    a) address the push-ups jokes head on, and maybe mention Drake’s own contract.

    b) address the fact that Drake named his wife, maybe mention how he’s pushing 40 and not even married.

    c) deliver a clever rebuttal to the “what’s a prince to a king” line

AI Kendrick just disses Cole and brags about how good of a rapper he is through generic terms.

It just doesn't sound right as well with the next bar accompanying it.
Think Kendrick would be a little more clever with it than that.

  • Apr 16, 2024

    I'll tell ya'll one thing

There is one person with the power and resources to pull this off though and that's Drake himself

If this is AI Drake did it

  • Apr 16, 2024

If you need to know what AI kendrick sounds like

This. Kendrick won't beat around the bush for 2 minutes before getting into it. We've listened to his music, he's pretty intentional and cognizant of how to grab attention.

There are some good bars in it but there are some really bad and easily writeable lines in this whether its AI or not

There is definitely lots of people who could write this lol

Exactly. Even on “like that” every bar builds into the other and is packed with meaning and wordplay. He’s going to hit the ground running with the opening bars on the real diss track

I’m cool with this being real cus the production is crazy. Would love to hear a good quality version of it

I'm jumping into the middle of this conversation but couldn't it be possible that this is a scrapped track that he wrote between 7 Minute Drill and Push Ups?

    Heres an acapella

If this is Ai they were genius for adding in all the vocals on the beat, Makes it way harder to isolate

I’m not arguing about if its real or not I just dont agree with nobody being able to write that but Kendrick

Even if its real this lyrically was nothing crazy so far. There are some good parts but yeah

It’s not about any of that that impressed me. It’s the subtleties of capturing the specific way Kendrick uses words. That thought process is hard to duplicate. It’s someone’s writing voice. When I heard Push Ups I knew it was drakes pen and I feel the same here

Nah because he mentions how Drake leaked his own diss

  • Apr 16, 2024

Like That is dynamic, he’s in an out of the beat, each bar leads in and out of the next, the whole thing is just electric af

Listen to Like That verse then this. And not to harp on it, Ik it’s supposedly a demo, but Kendrick is again too smart to go from a beat as good as Like That to this.

    It’s not about the quality

It’s about how perfectly it captures Kendrick’s way of wording things

There’s a few idiosyncratic bars here that I refuse to believe anyone but Kendrick would come up with.

    Yeah I don’t agree

Even if its real its just really weak for him and definitely coulda been emulated by a fan

That's a good point, nvm. If it's AI it's a fantastic mimic of his voice, sounds just like him down to the enunciation on certain words

Personally I don’t hear the same subtleties you do. What I would expect to hear from Kendrick is missing here in terms of lyrical and vocal intricacies.

But all good bro agreed to disagree
