Heart Pt 2 still one of my favorite moments in Kendrick career. Heart Pt 1 had me excited for this and he def delivered

This the tape when he started getting some real buzz. XXL reviewed it. Was cool to see Kendrick in magazines. Was kinda salty they gave him an L for the beats though lol I get it now though, his ear def evolved

It dropped on VEVO and a lot of people didn’t know what the rest of discog was like. They thought he was another generic rapper, now niggas on YT love Kendrick lol Q verse was crazy on that btw

I was a big Kendrick fan when this first dropped. Played this all the time walking to work. I revisit this from time to time and it’s crazy to see the evolution. You get traces of what his sound would grow into on tracks like Cut You Off, Heaven & Hell, and Heart Pt 2
