streams per song, wow another goal post. I would have expected at least something close to 350 minimum for an album so good, so loved, so hard, so biting especially after the type of year this guy has had. I mean something just doesn't add up here.
wild how theres less emotion in literal war threads on this site
Travis really got the sales s*** on lock
he did like four $5 vault editions that gave unreleased songs
not even counting the live version, C+S, and ALL the physicals that he sold as well
each song was listened to more
what do you mean
Music consumption is not how many times each song or each album was listened to. Nobody really sits down to listen to an album, listens all the way through, then turns off the music to go do something else. (Maybe that’s what KTT and Reddit nerds who read genius lyrics while listening do idk but they’re a minuscule minority).
Music consumption is about how much time people have in a day where they can listen to music and what they choose to listen to during that time (commuting, working, gym, etc).
So if you you take a 12 track album like GNX and hypothetically add an additional four tracks then what will happen is a lot of the streams that went to the original 12 tracks would be redistributed to the those new four. Because people still have the same amount of time to listen to music as before but a larger number of songs to listen to. And yes, the total number of streams for the album will increase a bit as well, but the average streams per track will decrease significantly.
good for hallf a week counted
wish the "big 3" would do a regular rollout for once in their life of this decade
now we got another donda1 situation

at least one member of big 3 used to make real music
i never made predictions about this album lol calm down
it's disappointing this guy with all this hype can't do better.
NLU numbers got touted all summer, now it's "numbers dont matter" again. (not you in particular)

ok but people returned to each song more than FATD
like we got israelis and lebanese posters in here not attacking each other as hard as stans who saw some other stans overestimate fw sales
no i skipped all of that because i was just listening to rap music that i like
numbers are fun if it's in ya community or if it's 07 please save your soul and stop arguing over zero zilch clowns
You don’t think I was listening to music while running the numbers? What’s the difference between being in excel for an hour vs jumping on COD during that same timespan

i mean the album came out friday morning during work hours, and its a shorter album so it would need to have a much higher stream/song count to match up against these other albums
this outsells everything cole done and some of drakes projects this decade with only half a week counted you bum
might delete did 170k
the basketball hoop album did 280k
mixtape did 120k
and dog didnt even have a full week for gnx LOL
