It’s not that hard to define though… rap, pop, R&B songs all well-traversed by Drake. Not experimental. Dance was left field as f***, it obviously stands out sonically against the rest of his discography. Experimental for Drake.

I disagree I don’t think that album is such a left turn from who his brand is as an artists. Outside of maybe it being that type of production for a full album but it wasn’t like he was hardcore. Electronic and dance music can toe the line of pop and r&b.. even rap in 2024 as it did it 2022. Specifically the Jersey/Baltimore club influence on that album.

I see alot of the popular joints on that album fitting right in with his other popular melodic songs.
