if the entire album is actually about perspectives and whatnot like on this song then lowkey i think Daylyt wasn't bullshitting and the album might piss off a lot of people, already saw the Nipsey thing in this song ruffling some feathers

I would've liked that to be just a song by itself

fr fr. I always find myself looking up whether it’s a sample only to find it’s the only original composition on that song.

I share similar feelings about some tracks from TPAB, like how many times can you listen to a song like u.?
This track tho... been on my headphones this morning and came back again more and more since I've came home from uni

  • Bruh I love the little part at 3:55 when Kenny shakes his head down making it seem like there's about to be another face change but it doesn't happen till three seconds later lol.
Also the transitions from Will to Kenny to Kobe were absolutely seamless man

in the end I feel like kendrick tackles so many different broad topics it makes me wonder wether he actually cares about any of the s*** he says. Especially with that delivery its almost overselling it. Altho this is typical for him it feels like he is more so selling his introspective pov now because it is expected from him rather than really trying to reinvent himself.
