Kendrick way too competitive to not be excited about locking in with a legend

if he was competitive he’d drop music regularly. i love kendrick but i honestly don’t think he’s built for this

quality over quantity

Being all about quality is being competitive...

The reason other rappers drop music more frequently is because they need that to stay competitive..because they're not known for the quality of their music, so they have to drop regularly to keep their name hot.

You have champions like kendrick that win every game and reach the finals pretty quick (only took kendrick a few albums to crack the "goat" discussions), and then you have the "not that good players" that have to play more matches by going through the loser bracket...and sometimes they even need to play more qualifiers to reach the main tournament.

There's no other rapper from this era who hopped on more songs with rappers than Kendrick but people think he's not competitive
How quick people forget when you don't spam them with music every month
Absence indeed bring misunderstanding

With that being said I hope he just ignores Lupe

there's that tweet asking who had the best albums, literally everybody saying kendrick

lupe really getting trashed...even verified news account having titles like "lupe getting slammed for"...

I want Kendrick to continue doing what he does and make all these lame rappers burn inside because they'll never be able to do what he does.
Would be corny if he responded to Lupe just because Lupe has an opinion, he already responded to him in the past and he didn't give a f***.

Yeah i agree that he shouldnt reply to the tweets and general passive aggressiveness over the past 7 years. But if Lupe released a direct diss track at Kendrick, then i feel i would need to see Kendrick respond

yeah tbh I wouldn't want Kendrick in beefs cause it distracts from his music's vision. some rappers feed off of beefs because they really dont have much to say in their music

Idk man Pac was involved in beefs and made inspiring/impactful music. I reckon Kendrick could balance it well, which he does in his music anyway. Gave us GKMC and Control not long after

I don't see how this is similar at all, Pac was a wild dude who was ready to beef with anyone, his beefs were mostly personal and not just friendly beefs with people saying "I'm better than you".
Y'all expect Kendrick to give a f*** about a Poope Fiasco in 2020 when he just had a kid and is probably in a positive space in his life.
Maybe he should make a song dissing French Montaha too while he's at it.

Not sure. Assumed it was toward Lupe. Lupe responded and deleted but then he mentioned something else about business in hip hop afterwards. But you never know with punch mehn.

if Kendrick does address this it will be on his terms. It won’t take away from the album or the vision. Kendrick way to smart to do that.
