Not real collabs he basically did for Q what he did for Reason which is a bunch of adlibs
Still a collab in my books
sorry im being annoying
SiR put out 3 projects on TDE before having a song with Kendrick
Kendrick was the one who signed Lance and he still ain't give him a feature, he put Reason on BP before Lance
Lol we can do this s*** with other artists too, Kendrick isn't gonna give you a feature just cause you're on the same label, he needs a song that is gonna inspire him and Showstop was probably not it
Reason said that Kendrick gave him tips on how to put albums together and s***, basically y'all are looking for something that isn't there
Reason is probably the artist who got the most TDE features on 1 project in a very long time but y'all assuming they don't f*** with him
I was just pointing out some of the differences between some of them, not arguing the point (as i said in the post you quoted)
Theres been alot of assumptions anout TDE recently purely cos of inactivity and its hilarious. When they all release these same people will go quiet

Kendrick: I get it, that’s what will take me so long to do albums (laughs). I spend the whole year just thinking about how I’m gonna execute a new sound, I can’t do the same thing over and over. I need something to get me excited. I see you get frustrated sometimes because you want some new s***.

sorry, always forget about this feature
1. Punch mentioned EGO in tweet. And he capitalized it as if it wasn’t just the word an acronym of some sort.m of acronym like “Exalt God Only”.
2. Kendrick PG Lang lyric “ Too many opinions in the glass house, this world full of EGO time to cash out.
3. Now we have Kendrick from this new interview specifically mentioning ego. He could’ve used any other word to describe what he was referencing like consciousness or intention, but he used ego.
4. Eckhard Tolle has plenty videos about the concept of now and how it relates to EGO he also describes ego in the same vain as Kendrick does.
Kendrick definitely tackling this on the next album. It just keeps popping up snd
I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

Yes, won't be surprised if "EGO" is the name of the album or part of it. Kendrick really emphasized on the EGO in the interview with Keem

Yes, I watched a lot of his videos a year ago and was very surprised when his name appeared here in KTT. And if we think about it, every reflects a certain period of Kendrick's life - his evolution and growth as a person so the upcoming album is the next chapter

He's lame ,he does this every month lol

I posted this here before but gonna share again
Interview from 2016
Kendrick Lamar: My music challenges the way people think by making us all aware of our own ego, and causing us all to reflect on how we can move our ego out of the way. Everything I talk about is ego. When I talk about race, when I talk about discrimination, when I talk about oppression — it’s all just human ego. So, when I put my own ego, my own flaws, and my own thoughts out there — whether good or bad — I make you open your own index and ask yourself if you’re like that as well. My music is like an open text book. Keeping that level of honesty and transparency is how I challenge not only myself, but the listener.
Kendrick Lamar: What I’ve learned about myself throughout this process — and I’m going to keep coming back to this word — is that I have a lot of ego. My favorite word is perspective. A fan may say I’m humble or have my ego under control because I’m constantly in the studio and I'm giving you music. But, to my friends and family who are close to me -- I’m not giving them enough, because my ego is all in the art and context of what I love to do. I never thought that having to balance both worlds would be such a challenge. I love what I do, but there are certain times and certain moments where you have to remove yourself as an artist out of the space and come back to where you were 10-15 years ago. That’s always a challenge for artists, and that’s been a challenge for me.
Kendrick Lamar: It’s one thing we’ll keep coming back to — remove the ego. I promise you, that’s the most valuable thing I’ve learned. Ego and pride can mess up a lot of relationships, and it can mess you up internally in so many different ways. It crossed over into so many aspects, not just in music — in relationships, communication, and how you’re received in this business. Everybody comes into this business with a mindset of not wanting to get close to someone, because they may cross you. While the business does have its pros and cons, it’s about knowing how to balance both sides, which has everything to do with ego.
I had a talk with Lauryn Hill and she said, “Try to completely throw away your ego.” How many times can you throw away an ego, you know? It’s tough. It’s something we all battle with. I battle with it all the time and the idea of being in all these places—the big spots, all the events, the lights—it’s all for your ego. It’s all for your own confirmation to be like, okay, I’m somebody. But truthfully, you’ve always been somebody. You don’t need the lights.

Honestly it explains why he stepped away from the limelight after DAMN./BP when he could've easily just continued building on that hype
But nah I think Kendrick's love for music is crazy for him to just leave like that
Lauryn Hill left after her first album because she was probably not built for the music industry and what comes with it, Kendrick is already few albums deep and he's at a place where he can do whatever he wants and he has the right people behind him I think
