"Mysterious"
it might not play in the clubs and barbershops, but it'll be banging in my bedroom

Rappers right now hoping Kendrick doesn’t deliver. If he even comes close to the quality of his last three albums, the noise about him being the goat will be at deafening levels.

he's already the GOAT, but they're not ready for that conversation
That thread will be lit pretty soon
Imagine listening to the intro. Might be a skit, might be straight raps, might be a ducking guitar solo. We never know it’s Kendrick and you can never known just know it will be great.

Instrumental on blood still goat movie score.
i'm lowkey hoping for a surprise drop, but i wouldn't mind a part 5. i could never complain about getting extra new kendrick
The surprise drop rarely actually ever happens anymore, at least in terms of major artists. I feel like Kendrick albums at this stage are too much of an event to just drop with no fanfare ahead of time.
I expect at least a single ahead of time, probably not a month(s) long release cycle, but something to build hype ahead of release.
Really hoping Kendrick does something political with this album, and considering the type of artist that he is and the type of albums he tends to make there’s likely very little chance of it being self-contained enough to avoid touching on contemporary topics.
Plus, openly politically based music is a pretty untapped market in the mainstream right now. Kendrick could really make a major statement by curving down those avenues.

Listening to TPAB at night when it first leaked and hearing that beat transition in the middle of “u” was some religious experience type s***.
And the first time hearing that transition from Complexion into The Blacker The Berry was the hypest musical moment of that year.

“openly politically based music is a pretty untapped market in the mainstream right now”
Wait, what?
Oh my god Kendrick fans really don’t listen to hip hop my g.

I listen to plenty of hip hop, touching on contemporary political/social topics is not some taboo or alien subject matter.
Speaking clearly on the issues of the day and taking firm, on impassioned, and well-reasoned stances musically is not very well treaded ground in the mainstream music scene atm.
I mean, the only example that we really have is probably Kanye and that’s more his antics than his actual music, and it’s major Uncle Tom-foolery at that.
Cool little tidbit on how tightly Kendrick keeps info locked up
lol who is that user? He or she is on stalker levels when it comes to Kendrick.
