As far as I know he wanted to take a new direction and start something new, TDE will always be Top Dawgs world so Dave can use his creativity for something bigger than being a vice president. There was no beef or something like this, Kendrick will never disrespect Tap Dawg or Dave, they are a family

Whippey pointed out that sometimes Top Dawg shares details about upcoming projects on Twitter and now it makes perfect sense

But what’s the purpose of leaving TDE at all if it’s an extension? And the reaction by Top and s*** was questionable. Also no public statements made at all

You’re right on that. Kendrick i feel like is on everyone’s side. I just hope there’s no friction between Dave and Top/Punch cus he is a huge part of their success
