If what some people are saying about the festival dates being part of the rollout and him playing the album there then it’s plausible he’d push the release back but I don’t think that theory is true tbh. I feel like he’s had a date in mind

I haven’t heard that but I was just thinking that if it would make more sense to release when you have more of a word on what will happen with this virus. Italy is totally locked down and if that happens right after a release it could def affect promo etc. just thinking from a business perspective.

I remember a post from HDD saying signing sessions boosted his album sales. I definitely can't see kdot dropping an album without having these signing sessions.

DAMN did 300k plus physicals. That’s the last time a hip hop album did that much. So I’m pretty sure that’s a big part of their rollout.

Kendrick is way more popular than before, but yeah the scenario is very unpredictable. The consequences from the virus can be very serious for the world economy as a whole. Hopefully the virus will be limited, Im so f***ing ready for new music
