Section 80 would be the album of the year if it dropped in 2018, 2019, and 2020
And it's his worst project

Kendrick Lamar trying to stop gang warfare, black on black violence and save the world
Roddy is rapping about boxes and getting his d*** sucked at supercuts
Roddy way ahead early in his career compared to Kendrick who was struggling to cross over
So as of rn Roddy lookin like he going above Kenny but we’ll see

Literally only took Kendrick a few months to rise to stardom, with conscious rap, not sing song autotune s*** which is basically a cheat code in our day and age
Kendrick is on path to be the goat. Roddy is on par to be a gunna type artist.

Progress isnt linear tho. If that was the case then hes above Jay z too
Different levels of artistry atm. Kendrick is one of the seminal artists of the 21st century, regardless of genre or medium. I love Roddy and think he’s a great artist, but I don’t see him occupying the same cultural space as Kendrick with his current output.
Would love if he proved me wrong though
