Video was the first thing from Kendrick in the beef that didn’t really move me. Didn’t match the hype of the song if we are being honest

Fair, I don't see him retiring anytime soon, especially after this.

It's a good video, although I did expect it to be less...I don't even wanna say "artsy," wrong word. The BTS stuff gave the impression that most of the video would be outside, around some notable locations in LA.

If there's one thing I've learned from this battle, it's that Drake's numbers are inflated and don’t play any role in this battle. Drake has 150 million IG followers, 30 million YT subs and millions of followers across other socials, yet Family Matters didn't even crack 40 million views. Makes no sense.

Even FPS barely crossed 50 million views. Everything about Drake is fake... he's the one buying streams and views this was even confirmed a month ago.

It still seems strange to me how Hotline Bling has 2 billion views. The video is boring and the song itself is so dull and low energy that I'm almost sure half the views are bought.

Same sht with God's plan the whole song makes no sense and is extremely boring. How is it possible to have hundreds of millions of followers but not even reach 40 million views (FM) in what is probably the biggest battle in hiphop history?

Not saying Drake isn’t massively popular, but it seems obvious now that the nigga has been botting his numbers for a minute now, at least for the entirety of the 2020s decade.

Too much s*** just doesn’t add up for the crazy numbers he’s still doing

This guy just got drafted to fight for OVhoe section today? They really are losing a lot of members to racist mutes and bans. This is the 3rd string team

Honestly, Kendrick been looking like he’s going to retire soon

I’m cool with whatever he wants to do now since he’s already shown he’s the GOAT. What I really hope for is that he wins 5 Grammys next year and then in 2026 gets 4 more with a new album so he can be the rapper with the most Grammys ever. After that he can retire if he wants.

Dot has given us more than enough great music to last a lifetime. Over 80+ amazing songs from just 5 major albums (4 if we exclude S80). Most artists don’t even have 40 standout tracks and they have twice the number of albums.

video dope but besides the crowd scenes, it felt very corporate/produced in some ways where it just felt random to go with a banger rap song

And tbh one that didn't land with me during the moment was the premise behind Push Ups and how Kendrick might have a s***ty deal, when we've known for years that Drake got a s*** deal too so that's like a pot and kettle situation lol
