Laughable to cheer his white queen is in the video dancing.
how much did that scene cost him?
LOL...
Clowns fall for illusions all the time.
He's obviously distracting from his own reality. Trying to keep a diss track alive so no one digs up the abuse documents and force a paternity test.
When is he gonna speak out for Black causes, or is he only interested in resuscitating a dead career?
Thank Drake later for the stimulus.
TPAB & Big Steppers out now
the ākendrick is inconsistentā narrative has always been nuts to me. on top of doing all these projects you listed, there were countless tours, features and festival gigs. he did his last performance on this mr morale run AFTER ālike thatā came out lmao
i think his lack of social media posts confuses people to think heās not active which is crazy.
All fax homie
I donāt think we actually realize the moment we lived through in hip hop.
Like we do but we donāt.
I've never been into chart watching but with Kendrick I started paying attention. I realized that radio stations still have a huge influence on which songs hit number one on the Billboard charts.
Everyone knows NLU is the song of the year, a global hit and a hot topic across America yet it only stayed at the top for one week.
Meanwhile, crackhead Post Malone's song held the number one spot for seven weeks. If you compare streaming numbers, YT views, and Apple rankings Post's song doesn't come close to NLU but it stayed at the top for almost two months.
Hiphop is the most influential genre but hardly any hiphop songs make it to the top of the Billboard chart. It seems like music labels and radio stations are making sure hiphop doesn't dominate even more.
So, it's funny to me that people still follow charts and check the numbers every week like that loser @thegreatdivine because it's all manipulated by the labels/radio stations.
During NLU's reign I realized there are two Americas: one that represents hiphop and one that represents Post Malone/Taylor Swift etc.
Did you see a month ago when that country artist had a concert in Texas with over 100k ppl? I'd never heard of him b4 and he's a legacy act. It's nuts how many subcultures there are in the US.
I wish more people understood some of the stuff you mentioned about subcultures
Morgan Wallen is basically as big a non-Taylor act as you got. He's a racist chaw chomping f***er, but racist chaw chomping f***ers have country fans (usually) and country fans usually support the f*** out of their artists.
This forum doesn't have many of those types on here + alot of posters don't seem to be from the American South, so someone like Wallen or other country monoliths in years past seem like they have botted streams or inflated numbers

The concert was surreal, just seeing something simple like Kenny saying Drakes name in person

I've never experienced anything like this when it comes to music. I can't remember the last time I felt so emotional because of it. Kendrick is truly incredible. That week between Euphoria and NLU is something I'll never forget. By the end of it, I was totally exhausted lol.
I got to admit, there were moments when I was scared asf because so much was at stake for the entire culture. If Drake had won this battle, I might have stopped listening to and following hiphop, as it would have been the final nail in the coffin for the whole genre.
Kendrick kept hope alive and might've changed the future of the entire genre for good.
I'll never forget how happy I was when I first heard MTG!!! Drake you piece of sht!
My favorite moment will always be the concert when Dre did the intro for NLU and then at the start of the second attempt when the entire arena literally erupted. Never seen anything like it.
I won't lie tho, when I first heard 6:16 in LA, I dropped a few tears. Outta body experience! Real talk!
Kendrick's music is incredibly powerful. For many of us, Kendrick is like a big homie we've been following since high school and watching his journey is truly inspiring.
He's irreplaceable to me. He never sold out to the industry, even though he probably left $100s of millions on the table.
He chose to prioritize art and because of that, he will end up as the greatest of all time.
This s*** was really about Good vs Evil, Real vs Fake, Right vs Wrong and Dot prevailed in the end.
